Main Content

Why do I make these things?

First and foremost I make these objects for me and to work through some idea I have. Sometimes I just like to decorate stuff. Occasionally I also make objects for other reasons including, most importantly, for loved ones and friends. In these works you will find humour and pathos. You will see many references to natural history and birds in particular. And also attempts to beautify the everyday.

I hope you enjoy the practice I have documented here and get something of a sense of what I do. My practice is represented in four very broad categories.
